CHEMICAL ESSENCE : For Lameness in Horses. THIS ESSENCE has been extensively used by the Public for over 10 years, and has proved itself one of the most efficacious Horse Blisters extant. It is mild in its operation, but at the same time permanent in its effects. Whilst strong enough to answer the purpose required by the severest blister, it has the rare excellency of doing no injury to the hair, and cannot blemish, however often applied. The numerous testimonials which have been received from trainers, stud grooms, and private gentlemen, and the fact that it is entirely free from corrosive acids and all preparations of Mercury, recommend it as the best application for Spavins, Curbs, Splints, Ringbones, wind Galls, Strains of the Sinews or Joints, Calloused nr Hard Swellings of long standing, and all other diseases requiring a sweating or blistering application. The Essence will, when diluted according to the directions on the bottle, be also found one of the best applications possible to Sprains, Bruises, Stiffness of the Joints, and other injuries of a slight nature, where actual blistering is not required. In Bottles, at 25., 3s. 6d., and ss, each. rESTTMONIAL from Messrs Ambury, English & Co., Dairymen and Farmers, Auckland :--July 11th, 19, C. Mr J. Er’son, Chemist, Auckland.Dear Sir,—We have had ym r Chemical Essence in use for the past ten years, and have great pleasure in testifying to its effectiveness. We have proved its value as a reir.e'y for strained sinews, splints, and other ailments common to horses working on macadamised roads. In one case we had an animal so badly strained in its foreleg that it was looked upon as useless, hut aher being properly dressed with Edson’s Chemical Essence and turned out, was restored to soundness in a short time. We look upon this preparation as being the best and most effective remedy f r lamcne s in horses we have ever used. We would advise those who need such a remedy, and have not tried it, to test it by using it, and if properly applied we are confident the re-ults will ho satisfactory.— Yours faithfully, Ambury, English & Co.
