(by telegraph—press association.) Christchurch, This Day. The Ariadue case will be adjourned till December 17th, pending the arrival ol more oversea witnesses. The Tram Conference decided to favor a paid elected board of management, but the Council dissents, and intimated that the city would control its own trams. Dunedin, This Day. The annual meeting of the Dunedin Tram Company showed the profit to he £9549, and a dividend of 6 per cent and bonus of 3| per cent was declared. £2OOO was added to the building and sinking fund, which now stands at £20,000.
