THE WAIKATO SHOW.

TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. The following train arrangements have been made in connection with the Hamilton Show On Wednesday, October 23rd, special trains to convey stock from Cambridge, Te Awamutu and intermediate stations for the Show will leave Cambridge at 7.15 and r Jc Awamutu at 7 a.m. The 830 a.m. train from Te Awamutu to Frauklon will run through to Kirikiriroa. On Thutsday, October 24th, the 5.5 a.m. train from Poro-o-tarao and Te Awamutu to Frankton will run through to Kirikiriroa. Aspeeial train will leave Auckland at 6.50 a.m., arriving at Kirikiriroa at 11.7 a.m , returning from Kirikiriroa at 5 p.m. Special trains will leave Kirikiriroa for Rotorua at 4.30 p.m. ; for Cambridge at 5.20 p.m.; for Thames at 5.40 p.m. Passengers for the Te Awamutu branch will require to leave Kirikiriroa by the 5 p.m. Auckland special, changing into the special which leaves Frankton at 5.15 p.m. and runs as far as Poro-o-tarao. The usual 2.25 p.m. train Frankton to Thames will not run. As the usual connection for Thames branch with the 9.30 a.m. train from Auckland will not he made on this dace, ordinary passengers on the Thames branch should travel by express train leaving Auckland at 8 a.m. For the convenience of passengers who are not attending the Show, the ordinary train leaving Frankton at 2.25 p.m. for Cambridge branch will run'as usual.

Mr J. T. Horne is the successful tenderer for the temperance refreshment booth at the Show at Claudelands next week.

The Secretary of the Show wires that the entries received for the Show total 554 for stock, 24 in the butter class, aad 31 in the bread elas?, in all 609, as against 580 for last year. The numbers show a slight falling-off in horses, but ou (he whole must be couoidcred highly satisfactoi y.
