RAGLAN FARMERS’ CLUB.

(by telegraph— own correspondent.) Raglan. This Day. The Raglan Farmers’ Club met at Te Mata on Saturday. The attendance was large and representative. Mr Thompson was elected President, and Mr Bankart vice-[’resident, and Mr Green secretary. TeMata was made the head-quar-ters of the club on the ('resident’s casting vote. The rules of the Waikato farmers Club were adopted with slight amendments. It was decided to petition the Minister for Railways to abolish the charge of one shilling per ton railway wharfage at Onehnnga.
