DEATH OF AN OLD HAMILTON RESIDENT.

In our obituary column will he found the notice of the death of Mr Augustin Vincent, formerly of Hamilton, Waikato, who passed away at Te Aroha last evening at the advanced age of 74 years. Mr Vincent was well known in the Waikato district, having resided in Hamilton since the close of the Maori w'ar, where he followed the occupation of a painter. He was formerly attached to the 65th Foot Regiment, and on landing in the colony he joined the First Waikatoes.

Deceased was in the receipt of the Imperial pension. He leaves a widow and four sons and three daughters to mourn their loss.—Te Aroha News.
