CAMBRIDGE DAIRY COMPANY.
The report of the annual meeting of the Cambridge Co-operative Dairy Company, which appeared in Tuesday’s issue, ratified the offer made to the milk suppliers of Pukekura stating they could join the Company as original shareholders, if they would guarantee 500 cows. The reply was very prompt, for yesterday we saw a document in which the milk suppliers of that district guarantee to send the milk of 600 cows, and there is every probability that thenumherwillbe largely increased. This document is binding, so that virtually settles the milk question as far Pukekura is concerned. Of course the supply will be taken to the Pukekura factory during this season, aud the change will be made at the commencement of next spring.
