(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. The Civil Sittings of the Supreme Court commenced to-day before His Honour Mr Justice Connolly. The whole of the day was occupied in the hearing of the divorce case Charles J. Fox v. Margaretta Amelia Fox and John Herapath, in which the petitioner applied for a decree nisi for dissolution of marriage on the grounds of the alleged adultery of his wife with co-respondent (Herapath), The respondent filed an answer denying the charge, and alleging desertion of herself and children by petitioner and failure to adequately provide for their maintenance. The 00-respondent also filed a denial of the charges of adultery.
