WARD FARMERS' ASSOCIATION.

(DY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION;. Dunedin, Tuesday. At a sitting in chambers to-day a summons for the discovery of the free assets in connection with the liquidation of the Ward Fanners' Association was argued. The matter had been before the Court previously in another form. It was an application to secure payment out of the estate of the costs of, and incidental toJt> the inquiry before the Court. It waf held that the debenture-holders could uot ba charged with the inquiry, and as the debentures were apparently a charge upon the whole assets, no fund was forthcoming for payment. The summons argued to-day was to have certain sums arisiug from the profit ou the resale of oats, and the profit on working stores, made available. The decision was reserved.
