AUCKLAND NEWS.
(by telkqrapu—press association). Auckland, Last Night. The Volunteer Buckley, who was accidentally shot at the Mouut Eden range a tew days ago, is progressing favourably in the hospital. Two candidates were proposed to whom to extend the call to St. Divid's Presbyterian Church, viz, Rer. Gray Dixon, M.A., Warrnambool, Victoria, and Rev. Jas. Chisholm, late of Milton, Otago. Mr Dixon, by a majority of votes, received the call at a salary of £4OO a year.
