It is hardly necessary to remind our readers generally and visitors to liamilton, to-day in particular, of the show under the auspices "f the above Society to be held in the Volunteer Hall this afternoon and evening. Notwithstanding the unfavourable weather of the week or so, the entries are well up to those of previous year?, and the competition in some of the classes is very larc;e. Th ■ doors will be opened to the public at I p.m sharp, and during the afternoon and evening a number of musical selections will be given by the members of the Hamilton Orchestral Union. Afternoon tea will be provided during the afternoon and refreshments in the evening.
