(by telegraph—press association). Wellington, Laso Night. Both Kruger and Joubc-rt are said to have nephews residing in Wellington. The Motor Car Company, which was spokeu of some time age, is going on and proposes to place motor cars on the streets of the principal towns in the colony, beginning with Welliugton. The charge against Wolfe, who murdered' his children, has been postponed ti'l next session, the accused being too weak t» stand the strain. The now notorious Hermit has returned to Wellington and has applied for admission to the Oniro Home. They refused on the ground that he has money enough for his immediate wants ; but the matter will come beforo the trustees again. The hearing of the application for extradition against Bonvy was adjourned for the production of further evidence. The Deputy Governor intimated that he would reserve his decision with regard to the document in the nature of the prison record put in as evidence of Bomy's conviction. The matter being of national importonce he would look very carefully into it. The application for a writ of Habeas Corpus in the cast; was withdrawn, but notwithstanding Mr Justice Denuiston gave judgment refusing the motion. Maohenand, a military warder in the French Consulnr Service, who arrived from Sydney yesterday, gave the police a description of the man wanted which corresponds with Bonvy's appearance. To-day he gave evidence and identified accused as the man who had been pointed out to him in the streets of Sydney by a colleague as com iug from New Caledonia.
