FUTURE OF SOUTH AFRICA.
London, November 14. Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, Chancellor of the Exchequer, speaking at Bristol, said this war had destioyed the Convention which had been entered into. South Africa was awakening to a new birth and would rival Canada and Australasia in the Empire's great compilation.
