ST. PETER'S CHURCH, HAMILTON.

Archdeacon Willis presided and there was a fair attendance, including a number ( f ladies. Jt was decided that the stipend of the new Vic r be fixed at £2OO per annum as fiom U e Ist Jai utyu xt A sub-committee ot the V.stry appointed for the purpose of inspecting the Vicarage reported that the r-u Ming was beyond repair; and, after :ot.d discussion, it was decided tint it be impioved as far as possible, and that the Vestry and the incoming Vicar make m range-incuts for a new Vicarage. At a meeting of the Ves'ry held subsequently it was unanimou-ly decided lo request the Primate to appoint the Rev. henry D. A. Major, M.A., to the position of Vicar.
