CAMBRIDGE POLO CLUB.
A meeting of the members of the above Club was held at the Criterion Hotel, Cambridge, on Saturday, at 4 p.m. There was a fair attendance. The balance-sheet for the past season showed a debit balance of £2 Os Bd, but there are several subscriptions still tj come in. It was decided to continue the popular game during the coming summer, and the following officers were appointed : President : Mr James Taylor. VicePresidents : Messrs W. G. Park, N. I. Hunt, 0. McCullagh and J. R. S. Richardson. Captain : Mr N. Banks, Vice-captain : Mr R. Ilannon. Hon, Secretary : Mr C. Buckland. Committee : Messrs C. Potts, IN. Banks, J, R. S. Richardson, R. Harmon, M. Wells and T. Weatherill. Hearty votes of thanks were accorded the ladies for the handsome manner iu which they had entertained the members and their friends at the matches during the past season, and to Mr Taylor for the use of his paddock, and the hearty support ho had given the Club iu every possible way that lay in his power. It was resolved to commence practise next Saturday at 4 p.m., in the usual paddock at Bardowie, and continue on each succeeding Saturday.
