CRICKET.
A meeting of the members of Slide's Cricket Club was held on 22nd, Mr S. Meachem in the chair,—The following officers were appointed for the coming season : —President, Mr T. Slade ; vicePresidents, Messrs Jno. Gordon, P. Le Qucsne, W. Stewart, G. B. Beere and J. Kerr; Captain, Mr F. W. Browning ; Committee, Messrs S. Meachem, C. B. Speight and H. Johnston ; Delegates to Union, Messrs Speight and Johnson ; Hon. Secretary, Mr G. Dodd.—lt was decided that the club's colours be blue and gold. A meeting of the Iso. 3 Hamilton Cricket Team was held last evening, when it was decided to call the club The Arawa Cricket Club and the Club colours were fixed as red and black. The officers wero elected as follows t President, Dr. A. S. Brewis ; VicePresidents, Messrs C. J. W. Barton and N. R. Cox ; Committee, Messrs A. E. Manning, L. Rollin on, C. Barton, jnnr. an! W. Dean. Delegates, Messrs G. Muhon and L. Rollinson ; Hon. Secretary, Mr G. Mabou. The annual subscription was fixed at ss.
