SUICIDE BY HANGING.
(BY TKLEGRAFH—•PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. William Rykers, bootmaker, aged 70 years, hanged himself tinder the wharf this morning. He leaves a widow and family. A verdict of suicide was returned ; but there was no evidence of his state of mind. He had been drinking for four months and had threatened suicide. Her leaves seven children, liis wife had gone to live with her son.
