WAINGARO POLO CLUB.

A general meeting of the members of the Waingaro Polo Club was held or? Saturday, September 16th, lit Messrs Seavill Bros., Waingaro, for the purpose of electing officers for the ensuing season (last year's officers retiring), and for transacting other business. Mesßrs Hewett and H. BuU were elected as Captain and vice-Captaiu respectively, and Mr R. Seavill was chosen secretary and treasurer. It was unanimously resolved to ask Mr Arthur Bull, Mount EdeD, to accept the position of President. Votes of thanks were passed to the retiring officers, and also to the ladies for so kindly providing afternoon tea on the various Saturdays throughout last

eoson. It was decided to start play as Eoon as the sheariog season is over.
