HAMILTON CRICKET UNION

There was a good attendance of members at the meeting of the Hamilton Cricket Union, held in Mr hi. H. Howden's sample-room, on Tuesday night. Mr Geo. Edgecumbe (President) occupied the chair, when the following draft of rules were submitted by the committee appointed at the last meeting, and with one or two alterations and additions were adopted : 1. The Association shall consist of a president, three vice presidents, a secretary, a treasurer, ami eight members of the committee ; two members to be elected by each Club. 2. That the annual subscription shall be 10s Gd per annum from each Club. 3. That every member of a Club, playing in a matoh, shall be a registered member seven clenr ctays before date of such match.

4. All matches Bhall start at 2 p.m. punctually ; any team failing to put in a appearance by 2 30 p.m.. shall be fined s*, such fine to be paid to the Association.

5. Protests must be lodged 48 hours after the close of a match, aud the sum of 53 shall accompany each protest. If the protest be cousidored vexations or trivial, the sum shall be retained by the Associat : on.
