HAMILTON LAWN TENNIS CLUB.
The annual meeting of the members of the Hamilton Lawn Tennis Club was held at the Courts on Saturday afternoon Dr. Brewis presided, and there was a good attendance of members.
The balance-sheet showed that after paying off an old liability of £6 Is 31, there was as the result of the year's working a credit balance of £5 14s Gd. The position was considered most satisfactory, and the balance • sheet was adopted. The following officers were elected, viz:—Patron, Mr F. W. Line, M H.R. ; President, Capt. Jacksoc, S.M. ; vicePi esidents, Dr. Brewis, and Messrs G. W. Sare, G. Edgecumbe and L. O'Neill ; Ladies' Committee, Mesdames Brewis, Jolly, Sandes, Blackburn and Stevens; Gentlemen's Committee, Messrs von Stunner, Blackburn and McCrea ; Hon. Secretary and Treasurer, Mr T. F. Jolly. A number of new members was elected.
Votes of thauks were passed to the ladies for providing afternoon teas, to Mr Smith, of the Commercial Hotel, for the use of the ground, and to the Hon. Secretary for his services during the year.
