A WOMAN WAS TO BLAME.

It is surprising how eager men are to saddle women with all blame. So frequently is this done, that " a woman was at the bottom of it" has passed into a phrase of every day usage. If you ask men for instances of woman's wrongdoing, they will tell you how Adam was tempted by Eve, how larpeia betrayed Rome to the Sabines, how Helen caused the siege of Troy, of the results of Cleopatra's intrigues with Caesar aud Antony, und so on. But they never tell you of the wise actions which women have performed. Surely Miss May Graham, of 99 York Street West, South Melbourne, was cot to blame when, by taking Bile Beans for Biliousness, she cured herself of a most acute attack of dyspepsia. Here is what told a reporter of the Melbourne Record :—" For three years I suffered greatly from dyspepsia. I had frequent und fearful attacks of neuralgia in the face, which caused me agony for weeks at a time. All food disagreed with me. I giew listless and me'aucholy. I spent fix months in South Gippsland for a chance, but I got no benefit from it. I returned to Melbourne, and became pale and sallow. I gave up hope of recovery. One day my brother brought me a box of Bile Beans. I commenced to take them, und in a short time felt decidedly better- Continuing with the Beans, I was restored to perfect health. I cannot too strongly express my gratitude for the good done me." The cost of Bile Beaus i> only thirteen pence halfpenny per box, and as all chemists and storekeepers sell them, no one should be without a box. In the face of Miss Graham's story, it cannot be said that this lady was to blame for having acted bo wisely as her narrative describes.
