IMPORTS AND EXPORTS.
(BY telegraph—press association). Wellington, Thursday. The imports of the colony for quarter were :—£1,616,752, againscriie sum of £1,517,025 in 1898. Auckland imported £358,647 ; Wellington, £468,195 ; Christchurcfi, £275,200; and Uunedin, £312,064. The exports were £2,851,745, against £2,301,572 for the same quarter last year. Auskland'a share was £409,G14 ; Wellington, £345,597 ; Napier, £166,665 Chirstchurch, £674.011 ; Dunedin, £357,114 ; Bluff, £259,452.
