THE MILK QUESTION.

TO THE EDITOR. Sin,—Now that the creamery business has been satisfactorily settled as far as Te Awamutu is concerned, I think it behoves the milk suppliers and those interested to thank you for the stand you have taken in their interests, and which has resulted in Messrs Ambury and English's successful entry into the field. In these days wh n politics rule the editorial rooit, the straightforward Conservative organ is to be congratulated upon the truly " liberal " principles it has adopted in supporting the interests of the farmers generally against the monied and friendly interests of one man or one firm. Give me a straight-out opposition paper any time before a snuffling policy advocate dependent upon wind and weather.—l am, etc., Principle Before Self-interest. Te Awamutu, '2sth April, ISO'J.
