KIHIKIHI.
Presentation —ln the Presbyterian Church on Wednesday evening last, Mrs Ellis, who ia leaving this district for Taranaki, was made the recipient of_ a handsome silver cake-basket in appreciation of her services as organist. The Rev. Walter Smith, in making the presentation, said that they were sorry to lose the services of so capable an organist, and desired to show that they were not ungrateful for the part Mrs Ellis had taken in the service of the church. The gift was an expression of e9teem from her Presbyterian friends and well-wishers and a mark of their ap preciation of her services in connection with the church. It would remind her in the new home to which she was going that the friends she left behind in Kiliikihi had not forgotten her, aud he was sure that he was but giving expression to the sentiments o v all preaent when he said that they wished that all happiness and prosperity might attend Mr Ellis aud Mrs Ellis in their new home in Taranaki.
