PRESENTATION TO BISHOP LENIHAN.
(by telegraph.—press association). Auckland, Last Night. Bishop Lenihan, prior to his departure for Europe, was presented with a wellfilled purse of sovereigns. He thanked the Catholic people for their generosity. They had promised him £3OO, but gave fully double that amount. He promised to ask the Pope for special favour on their behalf.
