Logan, £37 17s Cd (accepted).—Contract 84. Sweetmau's Block VII : W. A. Wils »n and Coy., £34; Johnson Bros., £23 15s.—Contract 88 : E. J. Wilson and Davys, £39 7» 6d ; Fred Caterer, £34 ; W. A. Wilson, £26 ; Johnstone Bros.. £2O 7s 6d.—Contract 89: E. J. Wilson and Davys, £26 ; Fred Caterer, £22 16s ; Johnstone Bros, £l9 5s 6d; W. A. Wilson, £l7- —Messrs Johnstone Bros, offered to undertake contracts 87, 88 and 89 for a lump sum of £SO, and this offer was accepted. Post office. —Mrs Stubbing, who has been in charge of the post-office, is now leaving, aud her place has been taken by Miss Laurent, who is now in charge of the office. The friends of Mrs Stubbing have subscribed a handsome sum which is to be applied in the purchase of some valuable article as a slight acknowledgement of the appreciation of her services in tlic Postal Department horc. The presentation will take place shortly after the article has been purchased. Mrs Stubbing left by Tuesday's coach on a visit to Auckland. —(Own Correspondent).
