MR SPRAGG'S CONCESSIONS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I concur in every word “ LookerOn ” says In The Argus on the 10th instant. There has been such a hue aim cry against Mr Spragg’s method of test ing milk that he has now voluntarily offered the suppliers four ways in which to have it done. It has always been known that it was Mr Spragg’s wish to have all the testing done at one place. Why this offer now ?—lt is simply a sop, or bribe, (o the suppliers and a bid for their support against the Co-operative Company now forming. His latest bribe is to remove the sixpence on exchange from all cheques in the Waikato. Mr Spvagg has been repeatedly asked by the suppliers at meetings previous to commencing the seasons to add or allow for exchange, but he always most strenuously refused. When there is going to be opposition he very magnanimously comes forward in the middle ot the season and makes the exchange payable in Auckland. If Mr Spragg can do it now he could have done it long before this. I say a mao of these tactics is a man to be watched.—l am, etc., Anti-Bribery.
