WEDDING BELLS.

St. Paul's Wesleyan Church, Cambridge, was the scone of a very pretty wedding on Wednesday afternoon, when Mr Percy Howard, son of Mr S. Howard, of Cambridge, was joined in holy wedlock to Miss Lizzie Roberts, second surviving daughter of the late Mr Ascott Roberts, of Pukuranga, and sister of Mrs William Vosper, of Pukekura. In the absence of the Rev. W. Camieß the Rev. T. Scott ofliciated. The bridesmaids were Miss Kate Roberts and Miss Howard, and the groomsmen were Messrs VV. Little and VV. Wallace. The Church was crowded with the friends of the contracting parties, and Mr T. Hartly presided at the organ. Wagner's " Hail to the Bride " announced the arrival at the Church, and, as the happy couple left the building amid showers of roses and rice, the well-known strains of Mendelssohn's Wedding March gave a fitting finale - to the ceremony. A large number of friends were entertained at " Dingley Dell," the residence of Mr W. Vosprr, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was discussed, followed by the customary toasts and congratulatory speeches. The bride looked charming in aciemc striped silk lustre with veil and orange blossoms, and carried a lovely shower bouquet; whilst the bridesmaids were dressed in a pretty pale blue figured silk lustre aud white muslia respectively, and also carried beautiful bouquets. Among the many handsome presents received may be noted the bridegroom's gift to the bride—a diamond and ruby brooch ; and pretty gold bra olets to the bridesmaids. The happy couple left early in the evening for Hamilton, en route to Auckland, where the honeymoon will be spent. We join with their many friends in wishing them a most happy and prosperous future.
