Bryan, the Democratic candidate at the 'last Presidential election, urges that the Cuban precedent in regard to future Government should be made to apply to the Philippines, and considers that Signor Zilipeuo should .be immediately entrusted with the control of the islands, as the foreign colonisation, if carried out, would prove dangerous to the American constitution.
