TE AWAMTJTTJ V. rOHIKARAMEA. These two clubs met for the second time this season on Saturday last at Te Awamutu, when Te Awamutu again proved victorious. Rain fell during the early part of the match, making things ■very disagreeable. Livingstone, Drabble and Singleton were the only other!) to get double figures, making 17, 13 and 11 respectively. Te Awamutu put up 81. G. Bowden (not out) 20, Case 16. 0. Bowden 14, and Callis 10, played well for their runs. Tuhikaramea iu their second innings got 61. Te Awamutu had five wickets down for 57 when time was called, exactly the same number of runs us their opponents, thus leaving Te Awamutu winners by four runs on the first innings. The fielding on both sides,, with a few exceptions, was very poor. A great number of catches were missed during the match, and if Waikato wants to v stand any Bhow against Tare.ru they will have to improve a great deal in this department of the game. The names of the players selected to represent the Waipa Union against Tararu will appear next week.
