RANGIAOHIA ROAD BOARD.

The usual monthly meeting of the above Board was held on Saturday last. There | were present -.-Messrs W. H. Mandeno (Chairman), Geo. McKinder, M. Turnoy, K. Kay and R. Burke. Corbesposdenop.—ln reply to a notice to clear furze, Mr Hclmore, of Christchurch, wrote stating that the notice had been forwarded to the present occupier and arrangements made to have same cleared, etc.—Messrs Goodfellow Bros, wrote enclosing a cheque for £4, amount promised by them towards Martin's cutting. Mr J. Clarke also forwarded his portion of the cost, £2 10s. Furze.—The Clerk was instructed to write to Messrs A. V.. McDonald and Dow, asking for refund of amount psiu by the Board towards grubbing up furze, etc. Works.—Mr McGie's tender for the formation of O'Connor's back road was accepted at 2s lOd per chain. It was decided to have 100 chains done.— Messrs Bearsley and Bygrave's tender for the work on the Te Kahu Station Eoad was accepted: Water tables, 2s 6d per chain ; formation, etc., 5s 9d per chain. „ . Accounts.—The following accounts were passed for payment :—W. Ingham, £7 6s 3d ; Cunningham, £lB 3b id.
