AUCKLAND NEWS.
(BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. Lord Ranfurly, the Governor, before leaving Auckland arranged with the Tonsou Garlick Furnishing Company, Limited, for re-furnishing the Government House. An order has been cabled Home, the company guaranteeing that everything will he ready by the last week in March. As the tailoresses' log agreement is expiring shortly, the Tailoresses Union have empowered the President (Hon. W. Jennings) to take steps to safeguard the interests of members. The members of the Conciliation Board left to-day for New Plymouth to take evidence in connection with the dispute in the bcot trade there between the masters and operatives. It is estimated that there were from 6000 to 7000 visitors at the Exhibition on Saturday.
