THE GOVERNOR AT DANEVIRKE.
(ill' TKLKGIUriI—PBESS ASSOCIATION). Danevibke, Last Night. His Excellency the Governor arrived here last night. The oilicial reception took place this morning, when a procession marched to the recreation ground and the Mayor welcomed His Excellency. An address was presented from the townspeople, and another from the Maoris. The Governor regretted he was not accompanied by Lady Ranfurly. He was heartily cheered by the large crowd, and afterwards entertained at luncheon.
