FIRE IN SYDNEY.

(BY ELECTKIC TELEGRAPH.— COPYRIGHT). (Received November 0, 9.35 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 9. Early this morning a fire was discovered in the crockery department of the top floor of Anthony Hordern's immense emporium, in the Haymarket. It had a good hold when discovered, and it looked as if the whole building was doomed. By great efforts the brigade succeeded in confining the flames to the crockery and the department below. A portion of the roof was burned through. Immense damage by water on the lower flats was done.
