He said the French had endeavoured to carry across Africa a hand grip to their French brethren in Egypt, who would be more numerous hereafter, and would forget or abandon nothing. (Received November 9, 0.40 a.m.). London, November S. Reutcr's Cairo correspondent states that the Khordofan tribesmen had a victorious skirmish with Khalifa's troops.
