Wellington, Last Nigh.t The Grafter was drawn iu Tattersall's No. 2 sweep by Trelford and family, who is employed iu the caretakers' department of the Government Buildings. If filled, the first prize would be worth £7.500. Dr. Cinders, Medical Superintendent of the Government Sanatorium at Rotorua, has resigned owing to illhealth. The mat'er of the late Major Kemp's will and his connection with the Horowlienua Block was again before the Native Appellate Court to-day, but further adjournment had to be made. It was stated that it was intended to prove the will, and one of the Council engaged in the case remarked there were the makings of a very pretty little litigation. Masterton, Last Night. A young man named Frank Fisher suicided by Bhooting himself through the head in a flax swamp at Opaki. Fisher was a native of London. He was 25 years of age, and had lately come to the colony. He had given way to drink of late.
