KARAPIRO LEASES.

ASSETS BOARD BLOCKS THE WAY. (BY TELEGRAPH - OWN CORRESPONDENT). Cambridge. Last Night. Matters are complicate'! between the people who have taken up lots on the Karapiro Estate and the Government. The latter professed to give possession at once ; but the Assets Board refuse to move their stock. It looks as if the Land Board will uot give up possession till the money is paid down. I have heard it rumoured that they were caught napping in a former transaction. They evidently do not mean to be had again. Meanwhile, the tenants are threatening to take the law into their own hands and impounded the animals for trespassing.
