AUCKLAND NEWS.
(BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. Two natives, named Tamora Puhe and Nopera Hemi, were committed for trial at Kawakawa, on a charge of breaking and eutcriug and theft at the Pukeie gumfields. The Tararu Cre«k return was £1716 worth of gold for the month. John Henry Taylor, charged with indecently assaultiug a girl, named Mary Davis, aged 14 years, was commiteed for trial. Bail was allowed in £6OO. Three other charges are to be heard on Tuesday. Accused reserved his defence in the first case.
