RAGLAN.

Church Services.—The Rev. E. M. Cowie conducted services in the Anglican Church on Sunday. At 8 a.m. there was a celebration of the Holy Communion, and in the evening prayers and a sermon. In the morning there was service at Te Mata. Unfortunately the weather was very wet, and the attendance in consequence was not so large as is usually the case when an Anglican clergyman visits the district. On Sunday evening Mr Leech, who is leaving the district, preached his farewell sermon to a very good congregation. This gentleman has officiated in the district for six months, aud his &ervices have been most acceptable. After the service a prayer meeting was held, to wdiich most of the congregation stayed. Mr Leech gave a short address, and the proceedings concluded with the singing of " God Be With You Till We Meet Again."-(Own Correspondent).
