WAIKATO HUNT CLUB.

——♦ . TO the editor. Sir,—ln your issue of Tuesday, the 18th, referring to the meeting of the above your correspondent reports Mr Pickering to have said : " He knew that there had been some little difference between the Club and Mr Webster, etc." Now lam quite sure my friend Mr Pickering never said anything of the kind, as it is utterly untrue, for I have never at any time had any differences with the Club, either during my own mastership or since Mr Douglas took charge. Possibly your correspondent was thinking of, or referring to my difference with the executive of the show committee, and if so, what on earth has that to do with hunting.—l am, etc., H. Bullock -Whbsteu.
