THE TUAPEKA SEAT.
(BY TELEGRAM —PRESS ASSOCIATION). Donkbin, Last Night. Mr Henry Symes, proprietor of the Alexandra Herald, contests the Tuapeka seat in the Liberal and mining interests, Wellington, Last Night. A telegram from Clyde states that Mr Robt. Gilkinson, of Clyde, proprietor of the Dunstan Times, is definitely out as a candidate for Tuapeka as an In-dependent-Liberal. The Clerk of the Writs has definitely fixed the date of the poll tor November 2nd.
