BATE MR BYRNES.

(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH— CCPYBIOHT). Brisbane, September 29. • In both branches of the Legislature sympathetic references were made to the deceased Premier's family, and a resolution of condolence was carried, after which the House adjourned out of respect for the memory of the late Mr Byrnes. Messages of sympathy have been received from the Premiers of Australasia, including Mr Seddon, and from all parts of the colony. Mr Byrnes' funeral cortege took an hour and a-half passing a given point. The Governor and Sir William McGregor were amongst those present. Business was suspended all daj.
