TROUBLE IN CRETE.

(r.Y ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.—COPYRIGHT), Athens, September 13. The admirals of the foreign fleets have asked for reinforcements to be sent to Crete. Armed Christian forces are marching upon Candia, and a conflict is imminent. The admirals demand the immediate withdrawal of the Bashi Bazouks, as well as the recall of the Turkish authorities and troops. The Turkish Boys acknowledge that the conduct of the Bazouks and Turkish troops in the rising was inexcusable. The British troops concentrated in Candia now number 2000. The international squadron in Cretan waters consists of 10 warships. There are indications that united action by the Powers is pending to secure the withdrawal of the Turkish troops.
