Five hundred friendly natives on camels are pursuing the Khalifa, whose flight is so rapid that he has been compelled to abandon a number of his harem. One hundred of his camels have been captured. It is officially announced that the Dervishes at the battle of Egega lost 11,500 killed and 16,000 wounded, while 400 were taken prisoners.
