OHAUPO.

CuiCKbT.—The annual meeting of the Ohaupo Cricket Club was held in Mr Teddy's Hotel on Friday evening. About fourteen members were present. Mr R. Mears was voted to the chair. The object of the meeting was to receive the report and balance-sheet and to elect officers for the ensuing year. Mr Colhoun, the secretary, read the balance-sheet, which showed the total receipts to be £l2 3s 4d aud expenditure £ll 18s Bd, leaving a credit balance of 4s Sd. The balance-sheet was adopted. Mr Colhoun was reappointed Secretary and Treasurer, with thanks for past services. President : Mr J. T. Edwards. VicePresidents : Messrs W. J. Hunter, 111. Lake, and J. Teddy, senr. It was decided that a committee of live be appointed, including tho Secretary. A billot was taken and the following were elected, viz. : Messrs A. Elwards, Chittenden, Stevens, and F. Cavanagh. A permanent captain is to be elected on the day of the first match, and a selection committee of three *o be elected by the committee. After some discussion it was decided that the annual subscription boss, the same as last year, aud that juniors under sixceen pay 2s Gd. The question of honorary subsetipiions was left open. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the committee of ladies who so generously provided afternoon tea lor the players last season. The trophies won by the best average batsman aud the best average bowler for last season are to be presented on the ground by the captain at the first match to be plaj cd this season. Messrs Colhoun and A Fdwards were appointed delegates to the Waipa Union.—(Own Correspondent).
