SOUDAN CAMPAIGN.
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH -COPVKIGHT). Cairo, August 27. General Kitchener is concentrating at Iligir. The Khalifa's heir, who is second in command of the dervish troops, was thrown from his horse and lamed while manoeuvring with the cavalry. Refugees come into the British camp from Omdunnan daily. They report that great preparations are being made there. (Received August 29,11.30 a.m.) Cairo, August 28. The dervishes are in large force in a fortified position at Kerrerei, but are not interfering with General Kitchener's concentration.
