MYSTERIOUS ROBBERY.

(BY TELEGRAPH.—I'RESS ASSOCIATION). Wellington, Last Night. A mysterious robbery took place this afternoon at the premises of Semeloff liros.', i'2oo worth of jewellery being stolen from the shop window between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. It was half holiday, and the brothers left at 4 o'clock. There were no shutters on the window. It appears as if the robbery is the work of clever criminals, and it is suggested that they may have got away with the plunder by the Tarawera, which left for Sydney at five o'clock.
