Meeting of Milk Suitlieks. - The annual meeting of the milk suppliers to the Alexandra Creamery took place on Saturday last at Mrs Finch's Hotel. Mr W. H. Grant was called to the chair. MrJ.T. Berry, Chairman of Trustees, read the balance-sheet for the last year, which showed a balance of £42 to credit, thus leaving a sum of £l3B still duo on the creamery The original sum borrowed for its erection was £ooo, but the building and appliances exceeded that sum, costing some £412. The report of the Chairman advised the taking up of some 100 more shares, at £1 each, to meet this liability. This proposal being approved of by the suppliers, the shares were at once subscribed by those present, so that the balance to debit now stands at £l3B, which sum, when paid, will clear the factory of all liabilities. Mr W. H. James said that it was possible that Mr Spragg woull purchase the creamery from them, and if so, would it be advisable to sell their interest to him. The proposal, however, was not entertained by the meeting, the opinion being unanimous that the creamery should remain the property of the suppliers. Itwasalsi agreed that teuders should be called for the weighing and delivering of the skim milk to the suppliers. A vote of thanks to the chairman for presiding, and also to MiBerry for his services as chairman of directors, terminated the meeting. The Late Mrs Pkinck.— It was with deep regret the many old friends of the late Mrs Prince, of Ohauno, heard of her decease, and her bereaved family have their entire sympathy in their loss. All who knew her here have only the most kind recollections of her while living amongst us. —(Own Correspondent.)
