BRITAIN'S POSITION.
HOSTILE COMBINATION. (by klec t iuc telegraph—copybightj BEIILIN, August 9. Professor Tiieodou Mommskn, of the University of Leinzic, the eminent German jurist and historian, believes that France, Germany, and Russia will combine against Great Britain. Germany, he adds, will refuse to do England's dirty work. An AngloAmerican Alliance, the Professor thinks, is impossible.
