THE INVASION OF CUBA.
Washington, May 30. Mr Alger, Secretary of War, has been informed by General Miles that preparations for the invasion of Cuba are still incompfete. He states that more expedition is required in equipping the army and that a large percentage are without guns and others are without ordinary dress. Heavy rains are falling in Cuba and a virulent epidemic of yellow fever is raging in the island. The American newspapers declare that 20,000 men will leave Tampa immediately for the purpose of attacking Santiago de Cuba.
