The Washington Government has disclaimed any responsibility in connection with the deaths of the Hungarian miners shoi by the sheriff's officers at Vazelton, Pennsylvania, during the riots in September last. The Hungarian Government claimed compensation, and the sheriff and officers were subsequently tried and acquitted.
